This Privacy Policy describes your usage of smartfirefighter.tech website (named later the “Portal”).


Our goal is to make you feel secure on our Portal, so your privacy and data protection are very important to us. Please carefully read the following summary, from which you will learn how our Portal works. We assure you that your data will be processed in a transparent and fair manner, and that we will make every effort to treat it carefully and responsibly.

The following Privacy Policy is intended to inform you of our use of your personal data, in respect of which we comply with all the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. (hereinafter referred to as: “RODO”).

Administrator’s data
The administrator of your personal data, within the meaning of RODO, is the Administrator of the Portal available at the following email address:

Purposes and legal basis of data processing
Your personal data may be processed by the Administrator based on:

a) Necessity for the performance of the contract or for taking action prior to the conclusion of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) RODO), separately for the purpose:

  • provision of newsletter service
  • register and publish on the Portal’s forum
  • posting comments on the Portal
  • publish posts and articles
  • use of a store connected with the Portal
  • use the forms available on the Website

b) consent (art. 6 sec. 1 letter a RODO), in order to conduct marketing of entities cooperating with the Administrator

c) legitimate interest of the Administrator (Article 6(1)(f) of the RODO), separately for the purpose:

  • marketing of the Administrator’s own products and services and those of external suppliers, including for analytical and profiling purposes, where the Administrator’s legitimate interest is to conduct direct marketing of its own and external products and services. Data profiling is aimed at preparing product offers that take into account the preferences of Portal users
  • using the forum, comments, store, contact forms made available by the Administrator in the Portal, where the Administrator’s justified interest is in taking care of the Portal’s users and providing answers to their questions
  • defense against possible claims, where the Administrator’s legitimate interest is to assert or defend claims

Transfer of personal data
The data may be transferred to entities processing them on our behalf on the basis of contracts concluded with the Administrator, but only for the purposes and to the extent necessary to realise the aforementioned goals, including, among others, entities providing us with IT services or other services ensuring proper functioning of the Portal, where such entities process the data only according to the Administrator’s instructions.

It may happen that Portal transfers your personal data to a third country as defined by the RODO, i.e. the United States of America. The USA is a country that is not part of the European Economic Area and does not have the same high data protection requirements as countries in the European Economic Area. If the Portal calls up website components from outside the Portal’s system, also different standard privacy policies and legal regimes than the Portal’s privacy policy may apply.

Retention period for personal data
We only process your personal data for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of storage or as long as we are legally required to do so, in particular until the statute of limitations for possible claims or the expiration of legal archiving obligations, including the obligation to retain accounting documents.

In the case of processing of personal data for the purpose of providing services offered by the Portal or its affiliates, your personal data will be processed for the period necessary to provide these services, until you opt out.

In the case of processing personal data based on your consent, your data will be stored until you withdraw it. At any time there is a possibility to withdraw the consents given on the website, including the consent to data processing for marketing purposes of entities cooperating with the Administrator. Revocation of consent for processing will not affect the legality of the processing that was performed before its withdrawal. In the case of processing your data on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Administrator, the Administrator will cease earlier process your data if you object to the data processing.

Right of access to data
You have the right to obtain information regarding the personal data we hold about you, including a copy of that data.

Right of rectification
You have the right to request the rectification of your personal data that is inaccurate. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by providing an additional statement.

Right to erasure
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by us in the following cases:

  • your personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected,
  • you have withdrawn the consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal ground for the processing,
  • you have objected to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing or the objection relates to the processing for direct marketing purposes,
  • the personal data were processed unlawfully,
  • the personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation under Union or national law,
  • the personal data were collected in connection with the offering of information society services as referred to in Article 8(1) of the RODO.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive, in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format, the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us, where the processing of such data is based on consent or contract and by automated means.
If you request that this data be sent to another data controller, this will be done as long as this is technically possible.

Right to restrict data processing
You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, in the following cases:

  • you contest the accuracy of the personal data – for a period allowing us to verify the accuracy of the data,
  • the processing is unlawful and you object to the erasure of the personal data, requesting instead that we restrict its use,
  • we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you need them to establish, assert or defend your claims,
  • you have raised an objection under Article 21(1) to the processing – until such time as it is ascertained whether the legitimate grounds on the part of the Administrator override the grounds for the objection.

Right to object to the processing
If your personal data are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Controller, you have the right to object at any time to the processing, in accordance with Article 21 of the RODO.

Right to withdraw consent
Revocation of consent to processing will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Changes in Privacy Policy
In order to ensure that the Portal’s Privacy Policy continues to meet the current requirements imposed by law, we reserve the right to amend it at any time. The foregoing shall also apply in cases where the Privacy Policy needs to be amended to cover new or changed products or services of the Portal.
